New City launch, NASSCOM partnership & breaking Whatsapp
May begins with a bang!
Welcome to May, the month of STAR WARS!
And with May the 4th, comes LOADS OF ANNOUNCEMENTS!
But before that, a RECAP.
WE BROKE WHATSAPP!
Well, not quite.
Another one of our global Whatsapp groups went over capacity.
the number fluctuated between 1021 and 1023, and we had to move to a new one.
We moved on to a new one now - I think this one is the 15th one.
The past week saw us doing our first TBC SPOTLIGHT in association with NASSCOM!
It is an initiative from our side to give a platform for upcoming startups to showcase their work in front of an audience of founders, investors, and decision-makers.
Please note, that this is not a pitch but a showcase. Hence, the founders showcased their work and the impact it had on their clients and the ecosystem.
We were also blown away by the showcases of some of the really great products being built in the ecosystem right now.
Himanshu Goel from FUTR STUDIOS showcased India's first AI Driven virtual influencer. @Kyra and @Shravya, in their own way, have the ability to revolutionalize the whole influencer ecosystem, and both the panelists and the audience resonated with that thought.
Simran Jain and Pankaj Baranwal from Beyond Exams showcased the impact that they have been having on the student population, having served more than 8000 students in the past 2 years.
The event also had Piyush Kumar talking about his 7 year journey building Rooter.gg in a fireside chat, and Anshul Saxena and Vineet Sagar talking about the status of funding winter, why early stage founders have nothing to worry about, and helped the audience to understand more about the basics of how the investors think when they are looking at funding startups.
⭐⭐THE BUILDERS CLUB HAS OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED IN THE WEST!⭐⭐
yes, yes, yes - we hear you.
We have been late, and all the builders in the western part of India have been asking us about when are we launching in their cities.
Well, here we are!
The Mumbai and Pune chapters are officially live with their chapter heads taking charge of the proceedings in the city.
Satish Kataria is leading the charge in Mumbai. He is a 4x founder and 3x investments head and is right now working on his new startup, Fandora. He is active in the web3 space, and can spend hours discussing about Web3 with you.
Dhanraj Dhanokar is the chapter lead for Pune. He is the founder of Growpartner, a certification-based Ed-tech platform that enables individuals to acquire modern skills that have impacted the lives of more than 100,000 students across India.
We will be starting with our events in these cities very soon. Stay tuned for more updates.
You can also share the links with your friends if you know anyone from the city.
We have onboarded a few new partners, but the news of those will be shared on our social media.
